This strikingly attractive bowl was made from a block of Maple Burl wood. It had deep voids in the wood which were filled with a turquoise colored inlay material, a process which took many hours over a period of 3 months. The wood has swirls and whorls which add to the beauty of this bowl. It has been finished with friction polish. This bowl is primarily decorative.
