This peppermill is unique in that it is black mesquite which is not a common hardwood. The wood has a small defect in it that was filled with a turquoise colored inlay material. The appearance is beautiful. It was turned from a solid block of black mesquite, finished with a friction polish, and then fitted with a high quality American made grinding mechanism which will last for years.
Note that a peppercorn funnel is included with all peppermills.
