This beautiful bowl was made from a block of Spalted Madrone. It has remarkable grain pattern which adds character to the bowl. It has a small hole in the bottom of the bowl from a knot, and thus could not be used to hold liquids. It has been finished with Friction polish, a finish which makes it safe for use with food. This bowl would make a nice small serving or salad bowl, but would also be useful for many things around the home.
