This large beautiful bowl was made from a block of Madrone. It has remarkable grain pattern with some spalting which adds character to the bowl. A small open knot was filled with a turquoise colored inlay material. It has been finished with Friction polish, a finish which makes it safe for use with food. This bowl would make a nice large serving or salad bowl, but would also be useful for many things around the home.
