This French style rolling pin was hand turned from a solid block of Bloodwood. Bloodwood is a tropical hardwood. This rolling pin has both heartwood which is a red color and sapwood which is grey in color. The heartwood will darken with age or sun exposure. It was finished with food safe heat treated walnut oil and is ready for use in the kitchen.
