Mixed Wood Bottle Stopper

This bottle stopper was hand turned on the lathe from a number of small pieces of wood which were glued together. It was then finished with a food safe finish then polished to a pleasing lustre.
The wooden top portion is fitted onto the bottom stainless steel stopper portion with a threaded metal fitting that allows it to be removed for cleaning without damaging the finished wood.
