This wooden bowl was hand turned on a lathe. It is 6 3/8 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches deep. The wood species is White Oak and it is a burl which is spalted which adds a striking pattern to the already impressive grain pattern. It is finished with a food safe finish which has been polished to a pleasing lustre. Although primarily decorative, this bowl could be used as a salad bowl or a fruit bowl.
